(1) Start the Walls Walk at Streche Road Car Park. There is an information board in the car park with history about Wareham Walls. From the car park, walk along the top of the Walls heading north. A second information board can be seen on your left.

(2) Turn right onto North Walls. Enjoy views of the Common, the River and beyond towards Wareham Forest. A third information board is on your right.

(3) Continue straight on.

(4) Continue straight on until the Walls end at Shatter's Hill. There is another information board here. You'll pass the church of St. Edward the Martyr on your right as you walk downhill.

(5) At North Street turn right.

(6) Walk towards the town centre for about 20 metres.

(7) Cross the road and turn left towards St. Martin on the Walls Church and the War Memorial. Follow the path behind the church until you reach the road.

(8) Turn left onto St. Martins Lane.

(9) Turn right, walking up onto the Walls.

(10) Follow the top of the Walls. Where North Walls meet East Walls, there is an area of open space known as the Bowling Green.

(11) Turn right onto East Walls. You can find an information board here.

(12) Follow the path towards East Street. At East Street there is an information board at the side of the road.

(13) Cross East Street and continue along the Walls, which gradually fade out into a leafy lane. This point marks the end of the Wareham Walls.

(14) At the end of the lane, turn right into o Connegar Lane which runs between two churchyards.

(15) At the end of the churchyard turn left.

(16) Turn right into Church Lane.

(17) Turn left into Church Street walking towards Lady St. Mary Church.

(18) Walk diagonally across Church Green following the signpost towards The Quay.

(19) Walk through the alleyway to The Quay.

(20) Walk towards the bridge and South Street.

(21) Cross South Street onto Abbots Quay.

(22) Turn right onto Tanners Lane.

(23) Turn left onto Pound Lane.

(24) Follow Pound Lane.

(25) Follow Pound Lane.

(26) Follow Pound Lane.

(27) Cross the road and you will arrive back at Streche Road car park.
