DescriptionThis is a 10 mile (16km) circular cycle route. Difficulty rating: 1-2. It will take about 2 hours to complete. This ride goes through the pretty villages of Farnham and Sixpenny Handley with the option of a visit to Larmer Tree Gardens. Start at Sixpenny Handley Village Hall. Interesting places to stop: The Larmer Tree Gardens are an extraordinary example of Victorian extravagance and vision. The gardens are open to the public throughout the year and there is a delightful tea room to rest your feet. Refreshments: The Roebuck Inn in Sixpenny Handley would be the place for a well earned pint after a pleasant cycle. The Museum pub in Farnham offers a welcome resting point. It also has a separate restaurant called The Shed, if you really want to go to town!
